Finished Art
Finished Art is a cathartic experience for me; Applying process and discipline to an output, touchpoint or problem. Adhering to high standards, providing solutions or dispatch within a specific timeframe, it helps quiet the noise of a hectic environment, focussing the mind by polishing the craft. It appeals to my meticulous nature.

Creating a branded merch piece for the Vodafone Sponsorship programme. Appearing at arguably the centrepiece of the sponsorship calendar, the Gold Coast 600, the design had to be loud, vibrant, but still “Vodafone”. Working with print supplier to test and refine the knifelines, before applying creative and brand elements. The original helmet went through a number of hands and sadly failed to meet expectation before it fell to me.
From “The Samurai” to “The Fighter Pilot” - I loved this job; really appealed to my inner nerd… and was a resounding success. Driving engagement on social media as well as local news outlets, this became an annual staple of The Retail Marketing workload.

This launch required complex print builds on metallic substrates. Carbon neutral footprint on point of sale. Secondary translations in Mandarin for secondary launch in Chinese market. Full brand ideation and launch; Website, App, Social and Experiential.

The Station Agency launch a lifestyle brand during my time there, The House of Wonderful. This portfolio of useful everyday items, given a premium edge, was available though Amazon. The team and I were responsible for the entire brand genesis. My primary focus being the packaging for the flagship device; a fabric shaver. The box was built by me from the knifeline up featured a matte cello wrap, spot metallic varnish and custom matte nesting inside.

Multiple Channel rollout to support seasonal TVC. In addition to dressing the store and website; 100+ bespoke billboards including Flinders St Station in Melb. Working with Maxus to produce custom tram wraps, bus stop installs and Supalite, Metrolite & Yarralite OOH installs.
Creation of custom Christmas ‘Stacked’ font in collaboration with Art Director, created additional challenges around ligatures and kerning. ‘Vintage’ filter for surfing santas also created conflict between mediums and outputs were treated case-by-case on a macro level, with hundreds of touchpoints.
